2019 Annual Report of UPOL Law Clinic

In 2019, the UPOL Legal Clinic handled 208 cases. Out if these, in 165 cases, UPOL students provided clients with legal advice. In total, 75 students participated in the Legal Clinic in 2019, with the help of 17 supervisors. The students and supervisors invested 2621 hours of pro bono work into the cases, which is approximately 16 hours per case.

Law Clinic of Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc now works online!

The Student Legal Counseling Center at the UP Faculty of Law amended the rules for communication with clients and started operating online. People who need legal advice, even in connection with the current emergency situation, can contact it by phone (585 637 616) or by e-mail (studentskapravniporadna@upol.cz).

STARS Summer School of Legal Clinics in Olomouc Cancelled!

Unfortunately, due to limitations to free movement of persons in the EU linked to coronavirus pandemic, and also to disruption of the summer semester of academic year 2019/2020, the Summer School of Legal Clinics, which the Centre for Clinical Legal Education of the Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc was planning to organize on 5-9 July 2020, was cancelled.
