Call for Legal Interns in Athens and Chios
Since May 2017, Equal Rights Beyond Borders (formerly known as refugee law clinics abroad) has been working with a small team on the Greek island of Chios, offering legal information to those seeking protection and who are supposed to be deported to Turkey after the EU-Turkey statement took into effect. The focus of our work lies on the preparation for and accompaniment to asylum interviews and support in family reunion procedures under the Dublin III Regulation.
In October 2018, we opened an office in Athens that focuses on family reunification under the Dublin III Regulation. In addition, we are also working on advocacy and research projects.
We work exclusively with long-term interns who will work with us for at least 3 months in Athens or Chios and complete a legal clerkship or internship with us.
